Synth Riders is our flagship title, which transitioned us towards a VR & AR studio. This is the process of how we got there.
Constrained by limited resources, we focused on a distinct style, core mechanics, and rapid iterations to start shaping our game.
Inspired by the ‘80s, Synth Riders is a homage to the best of the era, from neon lightning to visual environments showing iconic sunset scenes, the game is solidly anchored in a retro futuristic experience.
Starting with Synthwave music, the game has been carefully curated with one of the rhythm genre’s best soundtracks featuring Parov Stelar, The Offspring and Muse.
Synth Riders is in the vanguard of VR fitness with a freestyle dancing rhythm experience that activates the whole body.
Built in Unity, the game is architected in a way that makes it easy for outside developers to add-in their own mods, and contribute to our music map editor.
Our experience working in VR allowed us to pioneer the first multiplayer game in our genre.
