Synth Riders Now in Meta Quest+ Catalog and the Future of Experiences™

by Arturo Perez

Today, even more Synth Riders can jump onto the virtual dance floor!

The VR rhythm game we launched in 2018 is now part of the Meta Quest+ catalog, giving subscribers instant access to over 70 licensed tracks from the core game.

Of course, I’m incredibly proud of the partnership we’ve forged with the team at Meta and appreciate the opportunity to share our game with everyone in the Quest+ program.

More than that, though, this is a huge opportunity to bring together Riders from every platform. Meta Quest, PSVR2, and PC players – all together, seeing what moves them through our cross-platform multiplayer modes.

To celebrate this news, we are sharing an Algorithm Experience™ with all our players, for a free trial.

We knew we were onto something special when we released Muse’s “Algorithm,” two years ago. The critics agreed about our first Synth Riders Experience™, but seeing is believing.

Starting today, players on Meta Quest 2 / 3, PlayStatiton VR2, and Steam get to try the truly amazing “Algorithm” Synth Riders Experience™ once. Full details are on the Synth Riders Blog

What I’m really excited about, though, is what this all means for the future of Synth Riders Experiences™.

Our Vision for Experiences™

With Experiences, we’re delivering new ways to explore music. People have described them as “personal musical journeys,” or “an experimental concert for one.” Really, the possibilities are endless! We know we can enhance the music and gameplay, but we also think we can tell stories, and put them further into the foreground of the player’s Synth Riders Experience™.

These are the early days of immersive music. The convergence between movement, visuals, gaming, and social is imminent— and we are just getting started. Like the early days of music videos, we are still experimenting in  this medium, but we see the potential to make Experiences feel like a new entertainment platform.

Our work to-date has been organic, discovering more about what we can bring to the table with each music pack we release. These days we are being more intentional, realizing that we have an opportunity to take things to another level as we focus our efforts towards the future.

So hang tight, riders, you might have noticed our last music packs have not had any Experiences. We are working on it! In fact, this is just the start of some big changes ahead.

Not only should you keep an eye out for new and exciting content that continues to push the boundaries of immersive music and gaming, you might find our games in places you never expected!

Please keep an eye on our social channels (and blogs) for more news to come soon!
